Basil Group works with family owned ginning factories, located at an area considered to be the most premium area in Gujarat for Shankar-6 variety of seed cotton, with a production capacity of more than 200,000 bales per season.

Quality being the main emphasis, enormous care is taken right from the selection of seed cotton, to all the different stages of ginning operations producing high grade, correct staple / Micronaire /Strength, lesser contamination cotton. At all our operations we have seed cotton grading facilities where the cotton from the farmers is graded prior to ginning. Each lot is mechanically sampled, which samples are tested by HVI laboratory
